So I mentioned in my last entry the buttons and knitting needles and sewing notions and such I got from my Granma while I was in Jersey. Well, there was too much stuff (especially when you include all the yarny goodness) to fit in my luggage, so my brother mailed it to me (Thanks, John!). It arrived yesterday, and I spent last night and today digging through vintage buttons and sorting out colors. They're so beautiful and inspiring, and I can't wait to do gorgeous things with them.

Pretty, eh?

Granma's Buttons

Thanks to my brother for also providing the apple tray in which to sort them. I knew that would come in handy some day.

And let's hope that no postal workers were harmed in the mailing of this package.

Knitting Needles

Wow, those are lovely!

And it's just proof yet again as to why nobody should annoy a knitter. >:D

Yikes! Sorry, guess it could've been packed better. But the postal worker lady helped me pick out a box and didn't say anything about the way I filled it. Oh, well.

As for the Costco apple container, we end up with those multiple times per year, so if you want more just let us know.
